"Emotional Reality" is a project that provides no scientific knowledge nor produces new stereotypes. It is a process. It’s where profoundly different worlds collide.
"Emotional Reality" grew out of a project organized by Museum of Modern Art, which consisted of 4 talk shows. The collaborative production of these series of discussions and performative actions brought together a diverse group of people who all share a desire for a social dialogue.
Recent political events in Poland show that people here have forgotten what a conversation is. Supporters of particular programmes are surrounded by walls, behind which they create their own narrations, languages and gestures that effectively block communication.
We want to create a space for conversation, where even people with opposing views can communicate without judgement but with empathy.
